The first golf course on the Costa Brava, opened in 1966. Built through pine-covered dunes on the Arenals de Mar estate without felling a single tree. Host of the 1972 Spanish Open, the inaugural event of what became the European Tour.

Club de Golf Costa Brava

The oldest club on the Costa Brava, founded in 1962 and designed by John Hamilton Stutt. The course opened in 1968 and in its early years welcomed Sean Connery. Expanded to 27 holes in 2011, it remains the only true members' club on the Costa Brava.

One of the most beautiful mountain courses in Europe, set in the broad Cerdanya valley at 1,100 metres elevation. More than 25 years of history, a social and family club with hotel, spa, wellness centre, tennis and padel, golf academy, and fine dining. Real Club de Golf Cerdanya

Founded in 1929, one of the ten oldest golf clubs in Spain. Designed by the legendary Spanish architect Javier Arana in the Cerdanya valley near Puigcerda, with 27 holes across century-old parkland surrounded by the Pyrenees. The only Royal Club in the Catalan Pyrenees.

An 18-hole parkland course in the Montseny Natural Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, at 779 metres altitude. Designed by Dave Thomas and opened in 1989, El Montanya winds through pine and holm oak forests with views of the 1,695m Matagalls peak. Just 35 minutes from Barcelona and 45 minutes from Girona, it is the closest mountain golf to the city.

Aravell Golf

Designed by two-time Masters champion Jose Maria Olazabal, Aravell sits in the Alt Urgell valley at 700 metres altitude with panoramic views of the Cadi-Moixero natural park. Just 15 km from Andorra, the course enjoys a fresh, dry Pyrenean microclimate that keeps greens in perfect condition year-round. Operated by UGolf, with an on-site hotel and restaurant.

Club de Golf Sant Cugat

The oldest golf club in Catalonia and the first 18-hole course in Spain, founded in 1914. Designed by Harry S. Colt, the legendary English architect behind Pine Valley and Muirfield. Still on its original grounds over a century later, 20 minutes from Barcelona city centre.

The historic clubhouse occupies Torre Tabernera, an 18th-century mansion built in 1718 on the site of the former Castell Vell dels Montornes.
